New Carbo Life Handrims now feature on Küschall wheelchairs

Carbo Life handrims are now available on our Küschall active wheelchair range. These ergonomically designed hand rim profiles ensure optimal transition of power from hand to wheel giving more control and efficiency which leaves customers free to use more energy in their active lifestyle.  There are two options to choose from:

• Curve L

The unique shape of these handrims are wider to increase grip on the handrim. These are best suited for those with complete hand function. The innovative profile enables a person to maintain a controlled, low-effort grip that helps to stabilise the wrist.

Compared to conventional handrims, the hand muscles tire less helping to reduce cramps, relieve pain due to carpal tunnel syndrome creating a relaxed and lasting drive experience.

• Gekko

The Gekko Handrim features an integrated rubber strip to provide extra grip and comfort. These are suited for individuals with complete hand function or limited hand strength.

The ergonomics and outstanding grip properties along with its low weight make the GEKKO a unique, revolutionary handrim.

The robust replaceable rubber strip, which is fully integrated into the profile, further enhances the exceptional handling quality of the handrim creating unrivalled drive comfort. In addition, the anodised low-friction surface at the sides prevents heat build-up when braking.
